Tom：Unfortunately, yes. I'm afraid we're letting you go, Roger. The good news is that we're offering you a generous severance package.

Roger：Isn't there another way? I'm willing to take a pay cut.

例：Since they insist that I have to go, I'll try to negotiate a fair severance package.（既然他們堅持我必須離開，我會試著要求一個合理的資遣方案。）
