Where would you like to go? 史提夫：吃晚餐好了。妳想去哪裡？ Jane：There's a nice Italian place not far from my apartment. 阿珍：離我公寓不遠的地方有家義大利餐廳還不錯。 Steve：Great. How about Saturday night? I'll pick you up at 6：00. 史提夫：太好了。星期六晚上如何？我六時去接妳。 Jane：OK. See you then! 阿珍：好啊。到時候見囉！

延伸學習 How's it going? 一切都好嗎？ ．How're you getting along? 你好嗎？ 回答時可以這麼說：Not bad. 還不錯。 Fine. 很好啊。 離……很遠 far from... 例︰My sister moved far from our parents' house after she got married.（我姊姊結婚後搬到離爸媽家很遠的地方。） "far from..."除了單純表「離……很遠」之外，也可指「一點兒也不……」。 例︰Although your child is far from quiet, he is very nice.（雖然你的小孩很吵鬧，但他心地很好。） pick sb up/pick up sb 接某人╱搭載某人 例︰I have to pick my sister up at the train station this afternoon.（我今天下午得到火車站去接我妹妹。） 另外，"pick up..."亦可表「購買……」。 例︰I'm going to pick up a few things from the store. Do you need anything?（我要去商店買些東西。你需要什麼嗎？）
